In accordance with Article 3 of IBAIA statutes, “Membership to this Association shall be open to all those legal persons or natural persons that”:
- Have their tax domicile and tax residency within the territory of Euskal Herria and are regularly employed in audiovisual production;
- Are registered as Cinema and Audiovisual Companies; and Show evidence of having rights under the current Intellectual Property Law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of 12 April) on audiovisual work produced by the same company in the last five years.
- Are independent production companies according to the following definition in law 55/2007 of 28 December about Cinema, Article 4 n) 1 and 2.
