If you’re interested in the documentary genre, have a project in mind and are looking for funding and/or possible partners, here’s the perfect opportunity. A gathering place for documentary professionals, the Forum is aimed at promoting coproduction relationships between European producers and strengthening cooperation between film industry professionals.
Within the framework of the San Sebastian film Festival, this year’s Forum will be held from September 20th to 22th, 2016, and will be carried out in three phases in order to optimize project quality, presentation and financing:
Pitching Workshops will give selected producers the opportunity to work intensively with tutors on the two days prior to the pitching sessions to advise them on how to best present their projects.
Pitching Sessions, where producers will have a chance to present their projects to a panel of distinguished international Commissioning Editors and experts in the field.
Individualized Meetings between the Commissioning Editors and representatives of the selected projects.
