Projects from ten different countries selected for the fourteenth edition of the Lau Haizetara Forum

Lau Haizetara, the Documentary Co-production Forum, announces the projects selected for its fourteenth edition, which will be held between the 25th and 27th September, within the framework of the San Sebastian Film Festival. Chosen from among a total of almost 90 inscriptions, four of the 14 selected projects are Basque, while the remaining ten come from Argentina, Italy, Norway, Mexico, Cuba, Germany, Armenia, Canada, Dominican Republic and Indonesia. TREELINE DISTRIBUTION renews its backing for the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum, granting, from among the chosen projects, a Distribution and Festival Consultancy Prize

The Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum and the Treeline Distribution strengthen their successful collaboration for another year. They will grant, for the fifth year running, the distribution and festival consultancy award, consisting of 2 consultancy sessions on the project. A first consultancy session during the documentary development stage and a second session once the documentary is finished. (more…)

Lau Haizetara announces the new completed projects added to its 2017 catalogue

Four documentary projects at the development and/or production stages which participated in previous editions of the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum have been completed and their premiere is expected this year. Since it started, and thanks to the boost received at this forum, more than 30 projects have been successfully finished and have gone on to enjoy a long trajectory. (more…)

IBAIA and Europa Creativa Desk MEDIA Euskadi will once again collaborate within the framework of the Lau Haizetara Forum

Once again this year, following the success of previous editions, IBAIA (Association of Independent Audio-Visual Producers of the Basque Country) and Europa Creativa Desk MEDIA Euskadi will collaborate by together organising a conference in the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum, which will hold its thirteenth edition from 26th to 28th September 2017. Quality and diversity are notable in the selection of projects in the forthcoming 13th edition of the Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum

The large number of projects received and their diversity show the strength of this forum, which reaches its thirteenth edition this year. After the committee’s evaluation, 12 projects have been chosen to participate in the forthcoming edition on the 26th, 27th and 28th September 2017, within the framework of the 65th San Sebastian Film Festival.  (more…)
