These alliances, which have shared and/or complementary aims, are intended to boost the presence of projects in different specialised markets for the documentary genre, thus enabling the completion of their development and financing.
As the result of these agreements, both the Biarritz FIPADOC festival and DocsBarcelona will select a project from among the projects participating in the forthcoming LAU HAIZETARA Forum of San Sebastián to participate in the project pitching sessions and the speed meetings held in January and May 2023, respectively.
Also, once again, PIAF (Productores Independientes Audiovisuales Federados) [Federated Independent Audiovisual Producers], in collaboration with EGEDA (Entidad de Gestión de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales) [Rights Management Organisation for Audiovisual Producers], has agreed with IBAIA (Asociación de Productoras Audiovisuales Independientes del País Vasco) [Association of Independent Audio-Visual Producers of the Basque Country] that the project selection committee will choose a project from among those presented by companies belonging to one of the member associations of the PIAF federation to benefit from participating free of charge in the Forum as well as enjoying other services that can be consulted here.
The Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-production Forum of San Sebastián will hold its eighteenth edition on 20, 21 and 22 September 2022, within the framework of the 70th San Sebastian Film Festival.
