Produced by Eroll Bilibani (TABAHANA Films) and directed by Aurela Berila, this documentary chronicles the journey of Adelina Ismaili, the Albanian pop icon whose subversive performances captivated a nation. She talks about social justice from a feminist perspective: art as a form of resistance.
The selected project will participate in the workshops which will be held over two intense days prior to the forum, and will then be included in the pitching session. It will be given the appropriate tools to perfect both the pitching and the One-to-One meetings held between the producer(s) and agent(s) from the national and international audiovisual industry (representatives of television operators and online platforms, sales agents, distributors and institutions). It will also compete for the IBAIA -ELKARGI Award, valued at €5,000 for the producer.
DocsBarcelona and the San Sebastian Lau Haizetara Forum mantain their collaboration agreement which will be favourable to the exchange of documentary projects between both events.
The aim of this alliance is to boost the presence of projects in two different complementary and specialised markets for the documentary genre, and to encourage them to complete their development and financing process.
