This prize, which is the result of the renewal of the Agreement initiated in 2022 between IBAIA / Association of Independent Audio-Visual Producers of the Basque Country, organiser of the Forum, and ELKARGI, highlights the commitment of the financial institution to the Basque audiovisual sector, at a time when the evolution of the sector itself demands a growing need for specialisation in financial services.
Over the years, ELKARGI has participated in the financing of a large number of cinema productions with the participation of Basque companies. From now on, in addition to its traditional financial service, it will support film, short film and series production companies with alternative private financing: it will seek investors and channel the cash contribution through optimal corporate structures, making the best possible use of tax credits.
This prize is in addition to the IBAIA – Bilibin Circular Prize in environmental consultancy, which was created with the twin aims of raising the awareness of companies with regard to the need to begin the ecological transition process and boosting compliance with the necessary requirements which different administrations are establishing to gain access to their corresponding aid packages in this field.
We would like to remind you that the 19th edition of the San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA Forum, which will be held on 25, 26 and 27 September within the framework of the San Sebastian Film Festival, is still open for the presentation of projects until 30 June, via the forum’s website.
